The time on the administrator config panel seems correctly set to GMT -8, but the forum clock seems to be running on GMT anyway. Some help?

You can override the forum settings in your own control panel.

EST was set in the old days because before Apolyton had customizable time settings, it was set to EST. (Same as its host, gamestats at the time.) Audentior used this scheme (Thus, AST - Apollo Standard Time)

Since Shireroth mostly has Californians, however, it was changed.

-5 would mean it's 5 hours behind GMT, which, last time I checked, wasn't American at all. :document
