We need more peeps and homies...

Post by Kaiser Letifer III »

We need to recruit more people, or get ye inactive folk to return to the land of the active living.. no more zombie citizens...

Anyone know where we can aquire more citizens for this, our mighty Empire? Or how to return to us those lost to time and fatigue?

There does exist an award for recruiting people to the nation. The Celestis Award. I would be willing to bequeath it to those that show themselves deserving.

Your Niftiness--

You have more than once resurrected Shireroth from apparent death. We also wish to see the great glory of our nation restored. The people who were once its strength are still around, some still online on AIM. If people contact those former citizens while they are online, and inform them that you have returned to your rightful throne, I would guess that many would answer the call to return. I shall do so when I am able.

Some... maybe... but I doubt that many of the old would return. Maybe have gone on to other things in real life.... I know.. they told me...

NO!! :cry :cry

Yeah, real life's been exercising a surprisingly powerful pull lately. It's getting difficult to keep its ultimate pointlessness and futility in perspective sometimes.

I wish you luck in keeping yourself as out of the real world as possible, Scott. :fish

Yes, posters.

It takes about 15 minutes. You make a poster - preferably not hand drawn, lest shabbiness occur - then you make 50 copies of it (I'd do it at school because my personal ink can be used for more important things like not using it) and walk along your road putting posters underneath the wind screen wipers of cars and in people's letterboxes. Incredibly annoying, but so is all advertising. You're bound to have at least one person show up as a result. Shireroth would look much cooler and interesting than the usual taxi and mortgage adverts (maybe that's just the UK though).

ERIS!!!

yay, im further justified in having lower lunaris as a protectorate!

in other news . . I BROUGHT SOME ONE NEW IN!! HA!!!

without random soliciting, which seems a little desperate in my opinion.

i agree with advertising, but lets keep it smart on where we advertise, perhaps school? or at a hang out where like minded indaviduals to ourself congregate, such as? a comic shop?

just my 2 eku (or whatever our currency was, i forget)

ERI!

(PS: What's the difference between a peep and a homie? In your opinion, which of the two would be more desirable? Would a surplus of peeps make up for a deficit of homies, and vice versa, or does it not work that way?)

(PPS: ERRRRI!!!)

Glad to see people are glad to see me. lol and very glad lunaris continues to live on.

Any chance of ever reunighting it though. I don't remember why or how it split or it's full status though so I just throwing it out there....

Oh and Scott:

Peeps are preferable, Homies wold be ok and would make up fr a shortage of peeps if we gat enough of them.

However Homie "G"s are only good to laugh at. :thumbsup

I apparantly did much the same as Eri, but then I was never particularly active here. I am, however, one of the oldest of the old (okay, I'm exaggerating), and by absolute coincidence I feel a stirring desire to waste gobs of time online just as Shireroth is being re-re-re-born. Count yourselves lucky.

...it's Caesar Augustus. Now apparently downgraded from a Roman emperor to a Roman king, but Caesar nontheless.
How have you been?

I'm good, good. About a week away from the end of a 6 month intensive Arabic course. I can't wait to be done with that. And by the way, I chose the name in reference to Marcus Tullius Cicero, Roman consul.

You, sir, must never have tasted the culinary miracle known as hummus, to speak such of the noble chickpea.

A few months ago, I would've agreed with you. Then I had some good, genuine, Middle Eastern hummus and my opinion was changed. Drastically.
