House shields

All the houses still have their old Duchy flags, complete with banners that say "DUCHY OF X". We can do better.

I'm willing to make every house a shield similar to that of Kalir, but I need their permission first. I'd have fun choosing designs and slogans for everyone (I already sketched one for Mortis just for my own amusement) but if you'd prefer you can come up with one for me.

Which reminds me. It's been months on that Shirerithian language thing. Nick clearly doesn't have the interest in it to continue. Perhaps we should either turn over control to other, willing, interested developers or scrap it entirely.

He's about to be free again to work on it. I haven't even seen him in months, he's been so busy.

Every busy people get downtime for R&R every now and then. He's spending his moments of free time doing other things. I respect that. But more to the point, I don't care. It's us that are here that we have to worry about and it seems like people are letting this whole lack of a language thing stop them from doing what could otherwise be cool stuff. We can't put things in the country on hold until someone gets back to us.

If he's not doing actual work by July 1st I'm using my powers as Chancellor of the University to remove his control over the national language project and will offer erb bounties for other people to work on it. And I mean real progress here, not just an "I'm back, here are a few scattered thoughts" type thing with no ensuing follow-up. Kaiseress wants a functioning University and, by Jove, she's gunna get it.

Regarding Praeta, I've messaged Nick asking him for a status update. If he can't do it, well...Bill's already said he's a no-go, which leaves me, Shyriath, and any conlangers we can find lying around elsewhere. Needless to say, I'm really, really hoping Nick has the time.

Regarding the House shields, I've gone with the round ones as asked. Here are the shields I'll be asking Ari to put up when our beloved MiniInt returns to the world of the living:
