MicroWiki Shireroth entry
Microwiki's gotten pretty popular and important recently, so I updated and added to Shireroth's last week. Take a look, find any mistakes, and add whatever needs adding.

Well-written.
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

When did we decide on those bizarre denominations? I always thought we just did 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100. like in the US. Actaully.. I never even assumed that. I've only ever seen a 1erb note.

It was the best kind of decision - a unilateral decision!

Re: MicroWiki Shireroth entry
Liberals? WHAT THE HECK?!Most recently, a debate between traditionalists and liberals flared up in a battle over Shireroth's beloved but graphically questionable flag that led to founder Erik Mortis taking an indefinite leave of absence. Some worry that the country has grown too big and complex to stay together as an effective community, while others celebrate its continued growth and prosperity.

Re: MicroWiki Shireroth entry
Well, you *can* kind of place some Shirithians on some sort of a continuum of how conservative or progressive they are. I already mentioned this in some thread having to do with the flag thing, but I'm just gonna say it again because of how much it amuses me: People like Erik and Greg tend to fall pretty squarely into the conservative end of things (though of course not entirely one-dimensionally so), whereas Scott and me tend to want to change things every time we see something that could serve as a vague improvement, no matter what we're throwing away.
The reason that amuses me, of course, that the four of us are pretty much the only currently active (ish) Shirithians who can be (reasonably uncontroversially) placed at the endpoints like that. It seems everyone who came in later or has been around less considers change in a far more situational manner. Maybe long-term exposure to Shireroth just causes polarisation of political opinions

For values of "et al" meaning "along with two thirds of the rest of the country", yes.

You say that only because he wasn't criticizing every aspect of your life constantly around the clock for little to no reason.

It bugs me to no end that he had such an active roll in such an important decision and then just left. I knew he would. Just another reason I question the legitimacy of the entire thing.

Are we allowed to place bets on how depressingly likely it is that your first act as Kaiser will be to change the flag back to that crappy number you have on your signature block.

Incidentally it seems the muppets on the wiki are slowly groping their way towards accidentally inventing recwar. May many hilarious calamities befall them. All we need do now is wait for the ones who take this too seriously to start calling the war crazed thirteen year olds "bug-nations" (which they nearly have done) and the circular recurring nature of dysfunctional behaviour in the community will have been established beyond all doubt.
Re: MicroWiki Shireroth entry
I was waiting for someone to bring up the Austenasian civil war. It's all rather absurd, even if it does mirror what we ourselves did a few years back, several times over actually... Hmmm, maybe I shant mention this again...

Yeah, I was wondering if we should perhaps have a word with them, in a kindly big brother sort of way, and say "Hey, if you want to fight a war, we know how to do it in an organised way ...." And, at the same time, hint that maybe the MCS is the place to be for anglophone nations etc ...
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
