It is my firm belief that the Kaiseress has gone mad with power. The County/Barony of Monty Crisco/Dolor has taken no action against the Imperial Government (in a long while), yet the Kaiseress continues her persecution of my subdivision.

Would the Yardistani put up with this? No. And neither shall Monty Crisco! I shall continue my rebellion against the Kaiseresss in perpetuity from this day forth! The borders of Monty Crisco shall be protected from the aggressor that is your lord Kaiseress.


Oh.. and I hear there is ice cream being sold along our border, make sure to get some when you get your mandatory travel papers upon entry of the County.

Goodie. That will give the Khan something to play around with.

Yardistan has a legal right to rebel. Monty Crisco does not. Do you see the issue here?

Yardistan doesn't deserve that right any longer! They have forsaken their heritage and have become docile and institutional.

(Besides, Nick is not among us, and most of Yardistan is pale in comparison with the original. )

Erik, you're just hounding us because...

...no, you're not hounding us, you're hounding ME.

Erik and Nick have been the only ones to scream that I am not a proper Yardistani (Nick even booted me from Amity and Mirioth way back when because I supported the kaiser over some issue I have long since forgotten about. But I do remember being hounded for that.).

Then Nick left.

The co-founder of Yardistan left, and since then, I have been the *only* constant Yardistani (Jacobus comes in second, but he doesn't have the years served here to count as number one).

I might be lax on the rebellion thing, but the fact of the matter is, as the longest serving Yardistani around here, I get a pretty big say in what Yardistan is, or is not. I rebel when I feel like it (which is very Yardistani in and of itself), and the last time I rebelled I gained back my Duchy. The time before that, I rebelled and successfully made Mirioth, Amity, and So-Sara its own duchy. I may not rebel all the time, but when I do, I get serious results. And perhaps that is the most Yardistani thing of all.
