I'm embarassed.

None of the Counties of Absentia have flags, and I'm very clumsy using "paint". The main cultural influences are Puritanian, Cyberian, Shirithian, Chelkran, with small Askenatzan and Batavian minority communities, and a Gascon refugee presence.

The Baron is short on erb, but will compensate chosen designs.

Well the Puritanians "borrowed" the flag of Guernsey if that is any help with where to start

....and we gave Hubert heck for "borrowing" the flag of Mozambique way back when.......

That's not a bad place to start. I'd accept an update on Absentia's flag as well.........
