Haven't seen us for a few weeks, because Leo and I have been getting face-raped by a gnome with a pencil. Happily, however, the reign of terror is coming to a close, and two Mondays from now we will be officially done the IB. Less happy, I've noticed, is the situation here.
I hadn't logged on in five days, but I'm quite honestly not surprised to see yet another rebellion. I've now accepted that it is what makes Shireroth Shireroth, and without the multitude of rebellions much history and opportunity would have been lost. So good luck, Anandja II. Mazel tov. (Although I applaud Erik's actions, for I think I followed the same thought process he did.)
I (and when I say "I", Leo, Cho'gall and I) had been thinking about leaving for quite some time, but whenever someone suggested moving because of whatever fucknut-saturated drama was going on at the moment (bad Allot, NO sass), I'd reply: don't worry, it will cool down. It always does. And it always did.
But I'm getting a bit tired of the cyclic nature of the environment here, so I think I'm going to take a holiday to somewhere where there is a little less drama (or, perhaps, where we can control the levels :P). I think Cho'Gall and Leo will be coming with me, but I can't speak for them.
Thanks to Ric, Scott, Erik, Ari and Khan for being absolutely fantastic throughout my entire stay here. You made it truly enjoyable and my Shirithian experience would not be the same without you. I'll never forget the Elwynnese rebellion, or the insane stories involving Dravot and strange men in pajamas. Ric and Scott: You are both constant inspirations to me. I've also enjoyed what interaction I had with everyone else here. Shireroth has given me a hobby for two years, and I'd like to think that I've given back to it, somewhat.
If you need some sass, I'll always be right across the border giving Andreas an earful. I hope I see most of you again from time to time.
"Goodbye," said Mort, and was surprised to find a lump in his throat. "It's such an unpleasant word, isn't it?"
QUITE SO. Death grinned because, as has so often been remarked, he didn't have much options. But possibly he meant it, this time.
I PREFER AU REVOIR, he said.
(I'll say it for you, Icebreaker: GTFO)
