Anyone who has read MicroHub, or the old MNN, in the last year may have encountered discussion on "MicroGov", a putative project to form a micronation grounded (so to speak, being an online thing) entirely in the real world.

The project has a new forum of its own - here. Anyone who believes that a viable micronation can be formed without artifice, based only on the objectives of using the dynamics of the community to support and influence a government that will in turn govern for the needs of the community, please come and talk with us.

Note: Please do not bring any Shireroth trappings with you. The MicroGov nation (which as yet has no proper name) is not in the same universe.

That sounds a lot like Model United Nations. Also sounds pretty cool.

Actually, Leo, a model United Nations would involve representatives of micronations gathered in assembly to speak at length and pass resolutions on matters totally out of their control.

This project is for a stand-alone micronation. And it is pretty cool, or will be if we get a quorum.
