War/SCIRA
SCIRA's not getting too much activity. Which is fine ... it kinda was CITRA transplanted to Shireroth and I didn't expect it to be as popular as VCs or CITRA in Nova/Toki. But now VC's are gone its one of the major spending things left and so it doing nothing is ... slightly worrying.
I'd like to check people are still interested in SCIRA, and if there are any major changes that would increase interest beyond current levels. Austi (perhaps by accident) has brought up the prospect of 'training' which, with a little thought, could be very easily incorporated in SCIRA, for example. Enforced SCIRA "regions" could also be possible (ie some regions you can *only* take Medieval troops, or can *only* take magical troops) but does have the disadvantage it stops people accumulating general armies should they desire to attack people. But then, is Shireroth the sort of nation where political power would change hands via war, or am I just too caught up in CITRA?
Well, this is the thread to say so in.

Re: War/SCIRA
I like the whole idea you have here. If the medieval idea is more than just Hallucination I could be interested in a medieval rec-war.
I´m also interested in building up modern troops and having rec-wars, maybe between Duchies, Baronies, or even Counties.
The Barony of Hallucination has the Naval Base - (training will start soon for the first 500 sailiors).
There are 3 Counties: County of Old Hallucination, County of Halluci Nua, and County of Lesser Attera.
County of Old Hallucination: Only Medieval troops and magical troops allowed. Oh, Priest too. These can be used for an "Execution of Ascendancy" or for owars
County of Halluci Nua: Modern troops allowed at all times. Medieval troops, magical troops, and Priest, can be used for an "Execution of Ascendancy" or for other rec-wars.
County of Lesser Attera Medieval troops and magical troops and, Priest can be used for an "Execution of Ascendancy"; use of them for other rec-wars is up to the Count. Modern Troops; The Count has the say so on that.

Priests are currently outside the magical range (since NCM doesn't do magic like that). I'm happy for them to be counted as Medieval troops.

Re: War/SCIRA
I just had an idea. As part of my initiative to ressurect the SSHIT, what about the SHWRC? The Shireroth History War Re-enactment Club! We have rec-wars, but based around specific wars in Shirerithian history, with the same amount of troops and all, but with different commanders. Then we see how they play out. Now we don't need a reason to start a war. We could be SCIRA's biggest customer!
Let me know what you think,

Re: War/SCIRA
If you'd actually buy troops first, sounds great fun to me.
EDIT: Actually, that gives me an idea. What if SCIRA wasn't for "invade someone whenever you want" (constant wars) but instead SCIRA was the place you bought troops for any recwar. Individual people then set the rules before recwars about what kind of troops are allowed, wts an illusion one (troops that die aren't destroyed) or normal (they are destroyed), that sort of thing.
The replacement of the normal "invade anybody" would be the "Civil War" clause, in the case of contested Kaiseral ascensions. The whole nation (or a whole Duchy, if just a Duchy) plunge into Civil War and at that point you can use whatever SCIRA troops you have in the all out madness of the civil war.
SCIRA could stand instead for Shirithian Civil and Internal Recwarring Association.
So basically, SCIRA stops being a CITRA clone, and instead becomes, "If you want to have a recwar in Shireroth, for whatever reason, buy troops via SCIRA first;" and you set the rules and participants for the recwar, and "When Shireroth enters civil war (Duchal or National), you can use any SCIRA troops."

Well how can you re-enact wars without troops?
Unless you'd like to dress up and fight...
