Re: T3H H47 IS BACK!!

What? Oh! It's quite alright. Really, I killed myself--you only provided a convenient means for me to do it. So don't feel badly. Nick and I had had a small dispute (which was easily patched up), and circumstances obliged me to remove myself from the war. I figured, if I must die, why not do so dram...

Re: The Real Histories of Vorpmadal

As a matter of fact, it was during my tenure as Count of Kaikias (I title I never earned or deserved), after the breakup of the Duchy of Antica, when I was Hatter's vassal, that I attempted to install myself as Kaiser Nicodemus I. Bill Dusch was the actual Kaiser (Meskan the Somethingth, I think), b...

Re: The Throne is mine.

Question! How can Dukes serve in the Lnadsraad if there is no Landsraad? You suspended the Charter already. Unless, of course, you mean to say that the Landsraad, like the Kaiser, is so entrenched that it exists outside the framework of the Charter (which would please me immensely. :demon) I don't k...

Re: Response to the KFZO-MNN-Nick the Awesome Affair

I don't know if I would say that Nick's conduct is necessarily how all Americans would define "respectful", if you're trying to contrast American notions of respect with, say, Australian ones. I do think it was quite tyrranical and stupid of Liam to declare the discussion finished and suppress debat...

I'm sorry, from the way the conversation was going, I assumed that the plans for annexing the other territories were further along than they actually are.

Re: Restoration of Cognito and associated territories

You're planning to take over the entirety of Jaris? That might raise some difficulties, as the Antican province of New Aryez currently occupies the western half.

Perhaps you should post a map showing the territories you intend to annex?

Yes, you can't really take Steven's statements as the concensus. We need a disclaimer. And, of course, I apologize for any insult or offense you may have suffered at his hands.

"Not a huge problem!" declared the Speaker, practically tugging Foghorn down one of the Keep's many corridors. "If the Shirithians want to destroy their own capital, who am I to stop them? Some palace for the Kaiser to return to, blasted apart by some giant robot, but who am I to criticize? Want I w...

Re: "Sightseeing"

Raynor's Keep contained two thronerooms: the larger, ancient one used for coronations and the like, which was long and somewhat narrow, like the nave of a romanesque cathedral, with tall columns and a cieling made of ribbed arches, all rendered in shining white marble, with the imposing, gilded Mang...

Re: [Order] Is logic the best problem-solving tool?

In my humble opinion, if something is beyond the grasp of human logic and reason, then it is not a problem: a problem is something which may be solved, and reason is man's only active means of solving problems. Something which is beyond human comprehension is a conundrum or something else.
