But listen well, all of you! Remember that idols of stone, of gold, of silver--every vaunted Asherah pole--will eventually crumble, for they are the creations of mere human civilizations, all of which crumble themselves, and thus take their gods with them to the abyss of obscurity.

Re: Duchy of Antica

A brief statement to any former Dinarchial Anticans assembled here: very early this morning, whilst conversing on MSN, Delphi and I finally got ideas about how the government of the Duchy of Antica ought to be put together ( it was a pretty rough set of ideas, for the purpose of finishing the contra...

Re: Duchy of Antica

Well actually the National Poem Bill had two sections. Sec. 1 proposed that Antica adopt a national poem. Sec. 2 gave the title of the poem and the text. It was two or three stanzas long and really only rhymed in the first one.

Re: Duchy of Antica

Which is really a shame. I liked Henzelli. He was a fiery patriot, but perhaps too hotheaded. After all, temporary existence as a duchy is better than nothing, and is Antica's slavation anyway; and that's not to say I wasn't sad to see Antica go into dormancy, but there are better ways of showing emot...

Re: Duchy of Antica

And do you know what else is odd? I haven't seen Henzelli anywhere. I certainly hope he hasn't done something silly, like join another micronation. And I wonder if many of the less-active Anticans even got the news that Antica had been annexed (e.g., RosetheConfused). Edited by: Baldwin PlantagenetJ...

Re: Duchy of Antica

Well I assumed that one of you would have written something by then, but the screen didn't reload and nothing showed up, so I was wondering if this was one of those deals where you had to write something new in order to read other people's new posts on the same thread. Of course, as I said, I was wo...

Ah yes, err... Delphi since you and the Kaiseress are both here I meant to ask you something...since I'm a former Dinarchial citizen, will I have to apply for Shirerothian citizenship? Also, how exactly does one go about becoming the count or baron of somewhere or other? (I doubt it's as simple as t...

Re: Duchy of Antica

And whenever we can get this business of the counties and dukedoms settled would be nice...I suppose feudalism won't be as bad as I thought. I just have one question, Delphi: you're not going to do away with the old Antica website, are you? It would be damn decent to keep it around.
