Very good to see the Kaiser has his access. I had thought he had it already. After all, a Kaiser needs a treasure room.

Suggestion regarding the Goldshire forum pages
Some (I don't know, maybe all) of the other duchies have their own themes (backgrounds, logos, etc.) on their forum pages. This is something Goldshire should look into, though I bet it would take a long time or a lot of effort to make all the graphics. Perhaps something basic to differentiate Goldsh...

Dubai tower renamed after Dubai's ruler
I just saw where Dubai's ruler got their new record-breaking skyscraper named after him because his government bailed it out:

What is Mejor?
Aryeztur, so what and where is Mejor? Is it a city? And what does the word itself mean? I have seen it in Antican Aryez, as well as in your micro-national surname.

He said since you are going to be the one working with it anyway, he will let you win the bid. That is, he won't bid any higher, even though he has, as I had said, deep pockets.

Re: Should we close Commonwealth Casino?
Alright, Erik. Send 1000.00 to my personal account and the Casino is yours to change and improve in whatever way you see fit. The Kaiser told me he didn't mind.

Re: Considering abdicating
Now I think I will have to retract my offer seeing as I had not intended on having to change residence. I may reevaluate in the future should the offer still be open and circumstances have changed. :) Sorry for having wasted you time. That's understandable. Maybe circumstances will change sometime....

Re: Considering abdicating
It's unrealistic. Nobles in Europe held multiple titles all the time. Also being able to buy and sell titles if a Duke allows it would stimulate the Shirerithian economy. That law needs to stay because it makes sense.
Any higher offers than from ISI/Leo Fenrir?

Re: Should we close Commonwealth Casino?
It's more then fair that Erik gets the opportunity to lead the Casino, afterall, he's shareholder. He's not a shareholder anymore since his investment was refunded. Erik, Kaiser Leto accepted the 1000.00 Erb offer. Care to bid higher than that, or just let the Kaiser buy it? I think his pockets are...

That law seriously needs to be changed. It's one of those laws people pass for no reason.*Sigh* You can't be a lesser noble of more than one fief.

Re: Poll on Classes
This is more of a discussion thread than a poll, but... I would like to see more Shirerithian and micro-national history courses. I would also like to see some analysis of micro-national culture, past and present, that is presented through coursework. Finally I think the University needs to offer de...

Re: way to many stickies..
I cannot speak on behalf of Andreas the Wise, but I feel as if, based on his descriptions of them, the Melangians have some middle eastern, perhaps Semitic, qualities.

Re: way to many stickies..
Ok. Likewise, Melangian culture has influenced Aryez, particularly Aryez's Akhilec region, so it's not just a one-way cultural exchange with Shireroth, either, but rather a bilateral cultural exchange, albeit one involving two different regions of Shireroth.

Re: way to many stickies..
Ok. I guess then Goldshirithian culture remains continuous throughout history, though there may have been some Aryezi influence during the current time period, or at least some influence resembling Aryez?

Re: way to many stickies..
Aryeztur is the Governor of Aryez province in Antica where there are many sticky threads and many one-post threads. So to me, as an Antican, all this is expected. The only thing that surprises me is that Khorze was not renamed Aryez or New Aryez already. Unless Aryeztur is saving that for Goldshire ...

Re: Should we close Commonwealth Casino?
I am not abandoning the bank, just looking for someone to buy it. The Kaiser's already said he would, and the implication was that I should name a price. But it looks like (from another thread) that the Kaiser's gone hiking the Appalachian Trail or something. So,Mortis International, how does 1000.0...

This thread is so good because it makes me feel like I am not the most addicted person in micro-nationalism
Hmm. Note to self: If I ever become Kaiser, don't go off the forums for more than 30 hours. No offense to Kaiser Leto III. Though he's probably hiking the Appalachian Trail

Re: Should we close Commonwealth Casino?
The Casino may not be closed, but it will probably be sold. I'd like my money back. But I could always keep the casino around, maybe I can tweak it. Mortis International Services will take control of the casino if you are disbanding it. Shareholder investments have now been returned in full to the s...

Shareholders and interested parties: Should we close Commonwealth Casino? Unfortunately for EasyWin, I just got admitted to an academic program that means I will no longer have time to test and "tweak" it. This also means I would have less time to create and test a couple of the other future games I...

Starting currency exchange talks
Minister Andreas, Now that Antica's bank has a fixed total amount of circulating money, 644240, I would like to start currency exchange discussions with Shireroth. These discussions need not include representatives of the Small Commonwealth, unless it is deemed necessary. Exhibit A: http://bank.naft...
