Renunciation and Abdication
The arrival of the Prince to Cape Farewell had brought Rai many feelings. He remembered so many bad times, all the rows, tears and goodbyes. They promised each other, "In peace go, never come back." With the Prince's quest to unite the Elw - he had after all already united the Elw of the Northern Re...

The waves are fighting the cliffs. They go in, and out... Before me I see the sea breathing, a mantra ever repeating. You should know that I often go here when I think of you. Sometimes I can feel such a want for you, a yearning of some sort. When this happens, I take the car (it only takes a few mi...

Re: A letter
My dear friend Corey, Thank you for your kind letter and for your gifts. I graciously accept them. Ayreon was a strange man. I am glad to have known him long before.... But I never understood him. But he is at peace now, in Ennabruk. Yes, I am well now, thank you. And it's not particularly cold now...

Sir --
If you'd prefer, I can add things to it. Perhaps the crest of Mortis or even the Benacian coat of arms in the flag's centre?

Re: EU elections
Today's the first of May, the truest "red day" in the calendar. People go out protesting, especially, in Växjö, those belonging to these three political parties: The Social Democrats, the Left Party (yes, they don't have a better name), and the Communist Party (formerly known as KPML(r) - Communist ...

EU elections
So I took this Dutch test, EU Profiler, to see how they think I should vote in the upcoming elections. I matched, in Sweden: Social Democratic Workers' Party: 78 % (though I'd never vote for them) Moderate Coalition Party: 74.6 % (I'd never vote for these either) Sucks. Apparently I don't stick to m...

The absence of the Kaiser and a Steward
Your Graces, Imperial Nobles of the Republic, The Kaiser hasn't given our Empire any sign of life for over eight days. At the same time we have no steward to rule in the meantime. This situation is dangerous. I am sure you all agree with me. I would therefore humbly ask you to elect a steward to rul...

Re: The River Elwynn

Re: New steward
Majesty -- why don't we follow the recent tradition of the Landsraad electing a steward for the Republic? This would get activity going in the Landsraad as well as making sure that it's actually a steward the nobles could get along with. Jess has just recently been elected to deputy prætor and would...

Re: A thought regarding the Caligaean peninsula
I have no idea, but places and groups of people in the world have strange names.
Caligae sounds cool :P Though I don't like the meaning of the name. I think Ardy gave the city its name. Perhaps he could tell us more?

Let it be so, as it is by my hand written: I renounce the ducal throne. I wish to return to my home in the north, to Cape Farewell where my heart is.

A thought regarding the Caligaean peninsula
I write this as the Count of Cape Farewell. OK, here's the deal. I'd like to make Care Farewell the county of just Cape Farewell. There's so much land I have no use for, that I can't find any history for or even would like to develop. So. Why don't I give the "mainland" of the county to Illumination...

Re: The funeral of Kaiser Ayreon
Rai stood on the cliff, among the small quiet gathering of people, thinking of his long-lost mentor, from whom all had been given.
Once the Sagart had finished his speech, the crowd stood still and silent for a long while, until Rai took to word and shouted out:
PEACE OVER THE MEMORY OF AYREON!

Re: The River Elwynn
I agree that a threat to Batavia is a serious problem. However, I think it would be better handled by the Small Commonwealth. That way, we can present a unified front and we can include Batavia themselves in the discussion. It will also look more like an international intervention, and be less like...
