Re: The Sky (Well, A Few Trials At Such At Least)
I wish I could understand it enough to get it to work. Me am dumb.

Re: The Micras Solar System
Personally, I would like it to be a little realistic myself. I mean, the MCS do such a good job that seems very realistic to me, why can't we do the same for it's astronomy? It's one of the reasons I asked about the weather patterns. I was kinda curious. Would it be snowing right now in the Shirero...

Re: The Micras Solar System
Also, the Tarsica maps? I love them. It can be very much like our moon and appear to have lakes. The surface is very crater from asteroids and meteors. They can have large sections of ice that in the sunlight look like bodies of water from Earth. Remember, for the longest time, we thought there wer...

Re: The Micras Solar System
That's the problem. There is barely any heat for it to bottle up that far out into the system. And honestly, it would have to be extremely close to one of the gas giants to recieve any heat from them. (Such as one of their moons) It's why the solar system has zones. Sadly, it's in the cold zone.

Re: The Sky (Well, A Few Trials At Such At Least)
I must say, I like four. It gives off the impression that their is a nice nebula close to the system. Plus, to the bottom, there is a group of stars that looks like a distant galaxy. Maybe our galaxy has a small neighbour like how Earth's galaxy does? Well, done. Very nice job. *thumbs up!*

Re: The Micras Solar System
So, we are just starting over from scratch? I mean, at least where we can. Gotta was adopted? That's suprising. I like Pythos.

Re: The Micras Solar System
The Gas Giant comments. Gas Giants are basically failed suns. They were gathering the mass to eventually collapse and ignite, but failed, either not receiving suffient mass or collapsing. I can't remember the exact details. It's been forever since my Astronomy classes. If you switch out a Jupiter s...

Re: The Sky (Well, A Few Trials At Such At Least)
Sorry, I didn't see RicLyon's post. I like the second one. I think that's the closest to what the night sky looks like. The other one looks more like they might have nebulas. If they are clusters, they seem to have too many for a cluster, giving off the nebula appearance. But that is my opinion.

Re: The Micras Solar System
If the names are going to be changed due to the quality of appearance, let's try to break it down then. The first five: 1. Chrono (type: V) Venus like in quality. A straight telescope appearance show show that it would be tan in colour with dark bands from wind storms. Of course, beneath the clouds...
