Re: Standards of the Past

I think the old flag is quite adaptable, and the idea of replacing the Random White Square (TM) with something a little less trashy-looking is a good one. How about a white star along the lines of the one proposed at the top of this thread?

Likewise! I do enjoy our periodic visits, when two great nations can simply groan as they sit down together, complain about their rheumatism, and bitch about young people. :love

Re: Greetings from the Antican Commonwealth

I, myself, would like to see a list of posts in the late rebellion, in order of their occurence. Also, while the Kaiseress' offer is very kind and much appreciated, I believe the majority of Anticans would be against our joining any sort of international organization which might require us to surren...

Hello folks

It's me again. Well, my new position is Ambassador to Shireroth and Babkha. Yes, I've been demoted from Foreign Minister, but such is the nature of democracy. I hardly visited any nations besides Shireroth, anyway. :kaiser I have been commanded to invite you to a joint diplomatic conference with the...

Re: The Death of a Kaiser

Of course I will listen to the Kaiser after the rebellion. But I will not trust the Kaiser anymore, there promises seems to be empy. Empy like my stomach... You could always join Antica. We can, technically, depose our leaders for no good reason at all, so broken promises would surely be criteria f...

Re: Sucession issue: Position of the Imperial Juudex

Do you know why attempts to democratize Shireroth invariably fail? Because the majority of the people are against democracy. In this sense, Shireroth's absolutism is essentially democratic. But I must say, what is the point of the Arbiter issuing any kind of ruling in this matter? If Jacobus believe...

Re: Redoubt Island Recwar II: Withdrawl

Vacqueyras Harbor There were still a few fires left to put out all throughout the town, the last remnants of the battle that had taken place. After a day of solid fighting, an unofficial truce was made, on the understanding that the Shirerithians needed Vacqueyras if they were to do as was demanded...

"Madame Voleuse a volé mon chèvre," testified Jean-Paul de Moreville. "Madame Voleuse stole my goat," Colonel Munier translated. Her voice caught up with that of de Moreville as the two echoed around the chamber, dancing amid the soaring, girthy columns and booming impressively off of the ribbed ce...

Re: Redoubt Island Recwar II: Withdrawl

Braden and Christopher had been wrong about the name of the island's capital. It was Pierrefeu, not Sanyyinkoth; the latter was the Hyperborean name for the whole island, not its seat of government specifically, but the conversation they'd had with the Hyperboreans had been rather hurried and detai...

And I can understand your anger over oppressive measures taken in the name of "national security." As a libertarian, that kind of thing really pisses me off. Really, we were just bored. We asked permission before barging in, through. Sadly, we seem to have jumped on the bandwagon a bit late, but I hope we can get in on the last bits of action before the whole thing winds up.

I like the treaty a great deal, but if we ever happened to engage in a recwar, not being able to attack one another's territory would be frustrating.
