SMAC = Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri

Y'know, Scott, you could also use the eruption of Yaanek and the sheer power of it to say that it caused a dimensional distortion (Aurora borealis?) and some of the fleeing Hyperboreans ended up on Earth while others remained on Micras.

Congratulations, Erik. Despite any differences we may have, I am truly happy for you and wish you and your fiancee a long and happy marriage. You picked a good approach. Me and my wife were married on the same date that we met, approximately a year from our engagement. ;) P.S. Keep the wedding list ...

[Lighthouse] Opening Relations

The Lighthouse City State, recently re-established after a long hiatus, is actively seeking to establish relations with Micran powers. Currently our MCS claim is in process, but we hope that it will be approved shortly. However, this should not affect our diplomatic affairs. Thus we seek to open rel...

Use alternate endings?

Machinotron
Machinalia
Machinatrix
Machineland
Machinagus
Machinaborg (dual meaning... heh)
Machinopolis
Machinavia
Machinia
Machinea
Machinika

That's all I got.

Re: What does Shireroth mean to you?

Tri-Cit is currently a problem since I have no plans to relinquish my roles in Babkha, Antica, or my own new project of Greater Helium. So the subject of my returning is, at this point anyway, a moot topic. Yet of all the problems with Shireroth, that was the least-pressing that I've encountered. I ...

Re: What does Shireroth mean to you?

I do not consider my departure to have changed my relationship with anyone in regards to personal friendships and acquaintances. Just because I emigrated, does not mean I hate anyone or am holding some sort of grudge. For lack of a better way to describe it: It's become too cramped here to suit my n...

Re: Resignation of citizenship

In the old days, when people trolled, we would utilize the courts to exact justice - meaning we'd ban them. They either straightened out or left. Nowadays people are too worried about scaring away newbies to do anything.

CJ is a perfect example of all the above.

Re: Old Micronational Flags

I have fond memories of Het Rijk and the Rijkmark! Liberi was too short-lived unfortunately, though it had an interesting premise. I remember all the fuss when the communists took over Charlotta and it became popularly known as "Red Charlotta". Mostly because, if I recall, it was the Red Antillians ...

Re: Old Micronational Flags

I have everyone's flags from god knows when until when I retired from the MCS and stopped collecting them. I had to shrink them all for the claimsmap, so the originals all went into my archives.

I'll dig up the Atteran and Tomann flags for you. Did you want Fealsamthom as well?
