Re: Hey, Bay Area-ites

Heh, thanks Scott.

Oh, and if it makes me seem less desperate, I do have somewhere to stay now. :) And I should be here till late September at least, if anyone wants to say hi.

Thanks all!

LoA till October

Hey all who remember me, I know I haven't been very active around here lately, partly because of my college exams and partly due to moving back home for the summer. Since the concection here sucks and I'll be abroad for August, I'm formally announcing an (already existing) LoA until October. Cromsfi...

Well, there has been the whole college-exams thing as well...

I know you're right, my initiative level has just been low recently - as has everyone's, it appears, though that looks like it's changing now.

I am in fact active, and have been posting and lurking with reasonable frequency over the last while - there has just been very little to do.

I have no interest in it myself anyway, but I'd just like to point out that advertising for applications around school and college exam time probably didn't help.

Not to pick on Fax, but he hit the nail on the head on why I left and a major problem with the system. 2/3 people get a chance to have an input while 1/3 has to sit around and wait, see the decision when th...

I really don't think Hypatia's to blame - she obviously did put in a huge amount of effort on this trial, despite RL difficulties.

No offence, H4773r, but the issue of the "national drink" of Shireroth didn't interest me much. :) I also protest this, Kaiser. The Landsraad has been quite active recently when it had important issues to discuss . See the land-loss thread for an example. The Landsraad inactivity is just a symptom o...

I'm not sure this is a good idea. I know there's a lot of talk about "We don't need good relations with anyone else!" but actually, we do. Presenting a military rather than administrative face won't help with that. At all.

Proposition D looks good, or G. Re G, though, I'm not sure what Ric thinks about the paring of Bjorngard - I think he has plans for that.

By the way, Bjorngard is part of Cromsfist, not Woodbridge.

I would support Ric for Duke, with two minor conditions. One, that the vote distribution agreements remain the same. I'm fairly sure they have to, anyhow. Two, that Northhold remain a Duchy. By "a county of Lac Glacei", what did you mean exactly? Wouild that not require giving up our Duchy-ship and ...
