Re: Update on Lady Carol
I have a long-delayed appointment with the surgeon tomorrow. He plans to remove and clean up he remaining painful and infected areas on the right side, to be followed later with a cleanup of the problems on the left side. I ask for your prayers and kind thoughts for a successful outcome. I will be b...

Re: Update on Lady Carol
I'm back in circulation again, thanks be to God! You guys have no idea just how wonderful it is to be showered as I have been with all your love and prayers. It has been very frustrating not to be in contact with all of my friends here online, and I am now trying to adjust to this tiny keyboard. Ple...

Perhaps taking a leave of 'absence
I have found that certain sevrere health issues have necessitated a return to the physician, and perhaps to the hospital. I may not have the opportunity to give my fellow citizens timely notice, so I am doing it ahead of time. I will miss you all but will return as soon as my health improves. Thank ...

You're probably right on that one. And I realized that my count was off by one in my post above. There are two olderwhite males running for thde major oppososing parties' first and second positions.

Re: Requires immediate attention
I asked Hypatia Agnesi, who was Kaiseress after me, what she suggested. She feels that for most ordinary sitruarions a six week rather than a six month gap from the date of a prospecitive Kaiser's last post in their former country. However, in a situation in which a foreign government wishes to caus...

As intriguing as this idea is, I'm not sure it would pass the Arbiter's ruling.

Re: Requires immediate attention
I have spoken at length with Ric after he, Corey and I had a joint conversation online. He feels he had no legal recourse as Shahanshah but to go along verbally but not contribute materially to the plot, and that only now that Babkha is crowing publicly about the plot, could he actually speak of it ...

Actually, I don't find that strange at all. I think most of us view our bodies in relation to how we feel about ourselves.

Benkern--I really don't think Scott wants to hear my opinion on this hypothetical sitruation or his thought processes which brought him to this conclusion. I like the term Scottishness, and don't particularly feel ownership of it. He has more right, actually possessing that name, to use that phrase ...

I wonder if this is quite the way you wish to create controversy. It's easy to degenerate into a shouting match if the choice is not a good one. I really think Jess, while intelligent, imaginative, and resourceful, will not be mature enough to rule over this country until he has had some seasoning, ...

Artz-- All very good points. Remember, though, this was my first computer usage that didn't involve word processing. Many young people show their parents how to use computers, rather than the other way around. It is no wonder that the competent computer user and programmer retains an air of invincib...

Re: Sarah Palin: Thoughts?
Now, that has got to be one of the cleverest skits involving those two strong, powerful women. To think that this country's people have come so far that the two major political parties have championed so many capable candidates who are seen as different, one for his ethnic mix, one for his advancing...

I think most parents have heard enough internet horror stories that whenever their kids are involved in something they don't know about or understand, they will examine it for dangers before giving their blessing or permission.

Shireroth is a feudal country, with the Kaiser as absolute ruler. Therefore, any privileges we have devolve from his benificence and from the Lawbook and book of Imperial Decrees. (At least, that's the way it's played here... :D ) You can actually get away with a lot until you are told directly that...
