The Cold Waste of Hyperborea, just one of many reasons this month is misnamed.

Viviantiana

Why is the coldest, deadest month of the year named after the goddess of life? Does it symbolize how, even in the most barren times, the seeds of life exist just waiting to blossom? Or does it symbolize that we really shouldn't expect the Shirerithian calendar to make sense, considering its origins? Viviantiana begins on a high note with Christmas, and ends on a high note with the Oustfest, one of Shireroth's least observed but most important holidays.
