The Perpetual Feast is an ancient Elwynnese custom and social event which entails the entertaining, feasting and feeding any Shirithian whenever they choose to drop by in the Lands of Elwyna.

History

The time-honoured custom aforesaid was instituted by the Duchess Mari Greenwood, who was the Fifth Ruler and Fifth Duchess as well as the Sixth Ruler and First Baroness of the Flower of the North. The custom was quite recently, after having been abolished in the Ardashirian reign, revived during the tenure of the Storjarl Hallbjörn Haraldsson of the Houses of Ayreon-Kalirion and of the Descendants of Freyja as [[Ruling Steward of Elwynn.

Importance

It is one of the ancient customs which provides the Elwynnese Nation with a common, overarching culture for the quite disparate country that the Jewel of Many Facets is.

Location

In the past visitors were feasted in the Ducal Palace, which is nowadays known as Eliria Castle. Since the revival of the Perpetual Feast, its guests are received in the Duchess Mari Greenwood Hall, which is a huge custom-built mead hall in the capital of Elwynn, the Kingly City of Eliria.

The Duchess Mari Greenwood Hall was opened in a lavish ceremony with all due pomp and circumstance by the then Prince, and nowadays King of Elwynn, His Riverine Majesty Thorstein Noah of the Houses of Ayreon-Kalirion and of the Descendants of Freyja. The aforesaid hall is for all intents and purposes considered a Royal Residence.
