Froyalan, also known as Froyarike, was the name of the Duchy of Elwynn during the Ducal Reign of Duke Harald of Froyalan (1533-1542), a period in Elwynnese history which to the Froyalanish is known as the Nine Years of Gold.

Nowadays the name Froyalan refers to the Froyalanish National Preserve where the Froyalanish constitute the majority of the population.
