Imperial Decree 914

NOOR AS-SALAAM, by the Kharenah of Zurvan, Qaisar Baanooye Sathratiye, to her subjects and retainers, greetings, and unto the gods of Shireroth undying and unthinking obsequience.

Know that We, Mibaradardam be Khorshid va Mah Minamaz dadanam Zurvan, have in the first place dedicated to Zurvan this Decree which by his Kharenah is confirmed for Us and our heirs forever.

IMPERIAL DECREE 914
On Imperial Succession

I. The Kaisership shall upon Our demise be vested in Our legitimate issue with preference to older siblings and their descendants over younger siblings and their descendants, and in the event of that line being extinguished, the Landsraad shall assemble to elect a Kaiser in accordance with Imperial Decree 908.

II. A child under the age of fifteen (Norton) years may not exercise the powers of the Kaisership. While still Kaiser, the powers of zir Kaisership are held by the Imperial Steward. The incumbent Steward shall remain Ruling Steward until the fifteenth birthday of the Kaiser. The Ruling Steward may resign and appoint a new Ruling Steward, or may resign and allow the Landsraad to elect a Ruling Steward.

III. An Imperial Decree may provide for the naming of a certain person, who, for the purposes of Imperial Succession, despite being alive, shall be considered to be dead.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF We have caused the Imperial Seal to be affixed to this Decree which We have signed with Our Hand. Given at the Keep this twelfth day of Muulantooqu in the year after the death of Norton one thousand six hundred and forty-eight.
