The Capital of Turkey is a thread that is probably the longest thread in Micronational history. It started in Istvanistan years ago by Erik Mortis, and can still be found today. 'What is the capital of Turkey?" is a joke amongst many of the eldest micronationalists to this day.

The orginal thread was Erik Mortis asking forum-goers to guess what he put down as the Capital of Turkey on his geography quiz freshman year of high school. Copy threads have popped up in many places, including Yardistan.

The original question ("What did I put on my geography quiz for the capital of Turkey?") remains unanswered to this date.
