The Kaiser Mors V is dead.
Kaiser Mors V is dead. Ambushed on his way to the capital, from Monty Crisco, by a band of Democratic Radicals who yelled something about long live Aure and that Locke was a sexy bitch, (They were obviously escaped mental patients), before being slain by the Kaiser and his guards. Sadly, the Kaiser was mortally wounded in the fight, he is/was in his mid hundreds after all....
So, Since there is no Charter, it falls to the Power of the Gods Themselves to bring forth a new Kaiser. Sadly, there is no heir apparent.
It was the wish of Mors V that the Charter be reinstated, and he was in fact on his way to proclaim it went he was attacked.
Let the Joking for Position begin! All else fails, I'll just dredge up some long lost heir from a distant blood line.

Re: The Kaiser Mors V is dead.
His Niftiness will be sorely missed. He was a great leader who restored this dear country once again to robust, if off-beat, health. We will not see his like again.
RIP Kaiser Mors V. The entire country mourns his untimely passing. O, great Prophet, please lead us in a memorial service fitting his stature and character.

The Commonwealth of Antica expresses its grief at the death of Kaiser Mors V, and in accordance with our deep respect for his esteemed personage, will dispense with our long-held tradition at the death of Kaisers, and not dance merrily on his tomb.

Those rebels were right. Locke was a sexy bitch... er... what I mean to say is that His Imperial Majesty's Government extents to the Imperial Republic of Shireroth on behalf of the Babkhan people heartfelt condolences on the Kaiser's latest demise.

Indeed so. I can assure you the chicken wings and spicy sauce communion is already being prepared for the B0O0O0/\/\ist funeral service.

Why don't we cook the corpse in special spices and devour it - an ethical funeral that leaves no waste and provides its own buffet for the reception afterwards. A result says I.

Spoken like a true Babkhan, not as any decent Shirerithian. Sir, Shirerithians are no cannibals, nor will we countenance such.

Re: The Kaiser Mors V is dead.
Oh I don't know. While it is true that we Babkhans do not pollute the soil with the remains of our dead we tend to go more for leaving our dead to the vultures, placed in towers specially built for the purpose.
Actual cannibalism, while not unknown to Babkhans in nutritional adversity or when the desire to injest the mana of a great chief is keenly felt, is not a common practice indeed it is no more common amongst Babkhans than amongst the Descendi or the more wayward Hunters of the Stag on Naudia'Diva.

Rather, I believe it is a custom solely reserved for our leadership, thus explaining the common theme of neurosis amoung our executive class.
In addition, could the Shirerothian definition of cannibalism please be explained to me, considering the anthropomorphic nature of the realm? Dolphin steaks anyone?

The people of the Elw mourn the passing of the great Kaiser. May he ever walk among the gods in Ennabruk.
Re: The Kaiser Mors V is dead.
My kaiser... dead
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki
