Hesham Jahandar--
Welcome to Shireroth! It seems you are well acquainted with some of our citizens already. I'm sure the Duchy of Froyalan-Elwynn will be glad to welcome you there. I'm sure your Duke will be along soon to welcome you as well. Hope you enjoy it here.

Everyone keeps coming to Shireroth. Pretty soon we'll have all our counties filled.

...grab the whole population of Gralus and that wouldn't happen, me thinks. You have a lot to fill... Best of luck though...

Yep. I've known Shireroth for many many years. And this place just isn't the same without Bill.

I know it isn't, but it is a whole lot more peaceful now. And with the addition of so many people from all over the micronational world, it is a lot more vibrant and interesting as well.

Nah, don't worry, good people of Shireroth; I've already tried many times and he seems adamant he'll never return.

It may actually come down to a Bill or Erik problem. I don't think those two really want to butt heads again.

I think by this time Bill would be butting heads with everyone if he joined again :hammer
(he's a great guy, it's just that... based on his posts at CFC, I don't think you'd even *recognise* him if he just came in and started posting...)

Don't get me wrong--I like Bill personally. He's really a great guy, but he tends to be very dogmatic about his points of view, and about Solaralism.
Re: Application for purposes of Citizenship
Too right. Maybe we need some meatheadedness in Shireroth? Everyone's so nice around here. Even this civil war is quite a happy one... let's get someone in here that will argue his or her points to the point where nobody cares about it anymore!

That is all well and good in its place, but things were so often heated to the point of spontaneous combustion, that it became unpleasant to demango because you never knew where the mines were planted each day. Frankly, a little fun and civility can be a nice change of pace.

Hey, if I can be re-habilitated, anybody can. We'd keep him in Yardistan, or tie him to Malarbor if there was trouble.

Bill apparently got banned from the IRC network CivFanatics's channel is on, and I spotted him posting at Apolyton (probably out of boredom). Maybe now would be a good time for me to try to recruit him?

Why'd he get banned?

So I joined Scott.
I tried to get Eoin to come back, I even told him about the recent "mostly dead" Shireroth but he also vowed not to return.
Speaking of which, Babkha has had a dramatic lack of talking dogs as of late.

Come on. Can you imagine the sort of fit Ben Gray would throw if I brought talking dogs into Babkha?
...actually, it'd almost be worth it for that alone.

I imagine that it would be half the fit that Babak threw when Fido showed up. The best part is, Ben may well be Grand Vizier soon, which would make it even better.
Oh and this brings up another issue. Our good friend Sfeir is running, but could use some additional support. Scott, if your citizenship in Babkha is still going, I'm sure he'd appreciate your help. Besides, when was the last time you attempted a coup? Even if it is out in the open.

Scott--
Since you are online and active so often here in Shireroth, can we consider your citizenship reinstated? It seems quite strange to see you on the emigre list.

Re: Application for purposes of Citizenship
Hesam, I don't think I was ever a Babkhan. I filled in the form once, way back in 2003, as Seyavash Arvani (or something similar) as part of an attempt to counter the anti-Shireroth propaganda Ardashir was promoting at the time, but the Vizier of Citizenship Stuff wisely chose to ignore my application, and I formally gave up on it after a month or so of waiting.
I was kinda thinking about posting in one of those threads, if only to stop them from being a total massacre of poor Sfeir (who seems too nice to fight back). But considering one of Gray's accusations is that Sfeir's part of some vast Shirerithian infiltration effort, having the guy in Shireroth who traditionally lead the infiltration efforts obviously support him would probably harm more than it helped.
If Sfeir wants my advice or something, he's welcome to ask, of course.
Hypatia's Mom: Not yet. See this thread for details.

Scott, the DSP is currently in the lead according to a (DSP-sponsored) poll, only the lies and hypocrisy. of the Behsaz can make you believe otherwise. :P

Scott--I have reread it, but I don't think you have ever really given up on this place. I think you are still making concrete and valuable contributions here, and this country is in better health than it has been in a very long time, partly due to your presence. I hope you will come to reconsider.

Oh that! The Kamalshahr vermin races never recovered.
I once placed a bet on a crippled treesian to place first and wouldn't you know it, he lost by a whisker to a 10 pound rat.
Cost me 20 camels.
