Disband Everything but Kildare.
As no one bothers with the other subdivisions. I vote we just disband all subdivisions except Kildare.
Re: Disband Everything but Kildare.
Err... and what happens to the rest? What's their status? I can't imagine that Scott wouldn't want to work at his county in the (near) future...
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Re: Disband Everything but Kildare.
I meant the upper subdivisions. I kinda generally ignore counties as pointless and annoying.
Re: Disband Everything but Kildare.
And where would you put those? The upper subdivisions are an excellent way to reduce the amount of minor subdivisions on the index of the forum.Erik Mortis wrote:I meant the upper subdivisions. I kinda generally ignore counties as pointless and annoying.

Just keep the upper subdivisions for geographic reference

Re: Disband Everything but Kildare.
If my map idea becomes possible (basically, taking the paint map, linking all the names of regions (or in this case, counties) to their subforums, and then making it change colour or in some other way become obvious when there are new posts), then that could be a substitute. We could have one top-level "Land" forum, with a map (or perhaps several maps, given the size of Shireroth), and then you could not only see when there are new posts in any county without having to navigate through several layers of forum; you would also find it easier to know where different counties are in relation to eachother.
The reason I say "if it becomes possible" is because I still need to figure out the php code to see if a forum has new posts (Ari is helping me there) and then work out how to put it into a format that will work in a forum description (probably using java and calling up php through that).

The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy
And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

There's no point because there's noone in them. We got someone back, and they fled to Kildare. Kildare has EVERYONE. There little to no activity outside Kildare.

I'm thinking of taking Asantelian out of Kildare and absorbing the rest of Ynnraile as it's own subdivision, just to kinda get things mixing up and less Kildare-centric.

If nothing else we DO need to do something about the other subdivisions.

I'm trying to at least give any newcomers more options.
I gotta make a serious effort to get more citizens here.

Cede Benacian Shireroth to Ashkenatza and whatever country is to its north. :

Re: Disband Everything but Kildare.
Easily solved. Simply draft a story in which Kildare invades the rest of Shireroth.

I'd be down for that.

I might also reclaim some of my old lands around Khorze in the future. For now though, I'm in favor of having two divisions- Benacia and Kildare.
