malarbor Malarbor Says: All hail Kaiser...oh gods, are you really going to make me say it? Yes? All hail Kaiser *sigh* B'caw I, who took the throne last week after the death of Kaiser Ikol. Before the old Kaiser died he managed to dissolve House Tessier-Ashpool and re-establish the Duchies, starting a long political discussion over the form those Duchies would take and an associated Landsraad law.

World cup fever is gripping the nation - or at least it would be if we hadn't been eliminated in the qualifiers early last month without anyone really noticing. But that's okay, because we have our own totally Shirerithian and therefore much better football league now, with four teams (apply here for a team of your own).

Hjalpta yatu að se zxeli! Malarbor demands it! Okay, technically it means "The sheep walked away from the leg", which isn't imperative and doesn't really make sense, but it sure sounds nifty. Go check out the current draft of Praeta Sxirothes for more.

Welcome back to potential new citizen Elliot Markham, and congratulations to potential new MiniImNat Edgard and a bunch of Thane-Palatines.

I hereby abscond as Duke of Goldshire.

As my last act as duke, with the power of Ducal Decree behind it, I leave the Ducal Throne to... whichever citizen of Goldshire first replies to this topic! Note that quickly becoming a Goldshire citizen and posting after the change is official would count, but that seems a bit unlikely you could get all that done before someone else posts.

May... whoever... rule wisely. And stuff.

By my hand,
Harvey Lekuan
Guy of Goldshire

I don't think we technically have a procedure on immigration between duchies. I think the most official sign of duchy citizenship is whatever I colour you as.

So, uh, any takers? :p

My friends...no...make that "my subjects"...let no one ever say nothing good comes of hanging around talking to Harvey about nothing in particular in #micronations late at night.

Now, where'd I put my ordering-people-around sceptre? Ah, yes, right here, next to my ceremonial sceptre and my oversized novelty sceptre.

Oh yes. It was a bit of a thing back in the day. This will probably be tolerated since its amusing and Yvain was a very effective Duke the last time around.

Is the current Duke giving the citizen of Goldshire who brings in the most new citizens the title to the Duchy? If so, I thought I might join Goldshire to help Aryeztur out so that he could become Duke. Would this mean I would have to leave Elwynn?

Oh, right. The succession. Whichever one of you can recruit the most good new citizens to Goldshire by the time I leave will be the next Duke. If you all recruit the same number, I just choose whichever of my subjects I like best, or the prettiest if I start getting girl subjects.

I assume you're a guy Allot. Since I'm new here, I probably don't know what everyone else knows. But its unlikely there would be such an active female micronationalist.

Ok. I don't want to join Goldshire unless it is certain to me that Aryeztur would become Duke.

Also, Aryeztur, Allot sounds like a girl, but then again you never know for sure on the Internet.

Ok. That would settle it then.

Actually I am debating whether to still join Goldshire. I would definitely need to be given at least that County we discussed, Aryeztur. (I would like the area you pointed out on the map you sent me.) The reason I would need a County is that for me to lose my only County would mean I would lose my possible seats in the Landsraad.

I can't wait until the Duke of Richelieu finds out, he's been calling me ma'am this whole time. *giggle* Oh god.

Shireroth used to be almost half woman in the past. And was one of the first nations to have relatively consistent female leadership...
