Because our beloved Minister of Trade, Andreas the Wise, appears to have vanished, is it the opinion of the Landsraad that it would be prudent to elect an Acting MiniTrade to fill in for Andreas while he is gone?

I would also like to request that the Landsraad appoint a temporary Minister of Trade in order to distribute bounties.

In addition to the bounty that I am owed, a new citizen has just been approved and has registered for his own bounty.

I was planning a meeting between me and the Ministers, to see who should be replaced. It looks to me that both Jake and Andreas will not have the time nor the internet access to fulfil their duties, so both jobs will become vacant.

But we can't afford that a Ministry does nothing for a month.

Andreas is on a perfectly properly-announced LOA. Not just at Gralus but right here in General Discussion too. Suddenly firing him and making a big deal out of how much it sucks to have to do this when he did his job so well, merely because some people turned up wanting MiniTrade services in the midst of his LOA, is a pointless overreaction. Just appoint someone to take over pro tempore. There's nothing difficult about it.

If he wants the job, no problem. And I prefer this solution more, as it would not be very grateful of me to just throw him out of his office. He has done a lot for our economy.

Or maybe someone else is interested. However, I will try to contact Jake about his Ministry.
