Re: Declassification Bill
You gentlemen have until Rasday, 2 Vanchauslurk 3734 ASC to propose legislation that reflects the actual compromise before I get my decree signing quill and the pot of coagulated blood out (you will have some time as the blood will need diluting).

Then let the bill die. If we lose interest, it was not meant to be.

You would like that, wouldn't you?Erik Mortis wrote:Then let the bill die. If we lose interest, it was not meant to be.
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Re: Declassification Bill
That's not a compromise. That's a smackdown. Whether or not the Dukes are willing to accept is up to them.1. Posts from Secret Evil Plans and Classified Archives more than six months old may be selected for declassification.
2. After a reasonable period of time, posts that have been selected for declassification, not deemed to be still sensitive, will be declassified.

Scott, Allot,
If you could draft something that looks good either as a law or a decree on this subject it would be appreciated. Having read the forums in question I hardly know what the fuss was all about.

>:(1. Any post in Secret Evil Plans or Classified Archives that is older than six months may be "selected" for declassification in the manner described in 2.
2. In order to "select" a post for declassification a user with access to the post's current parent forum must mark it with a post entitled "Request for Declassification".
3. All users with access to a selected post may then mark it with a post entitled "Still Worth Keeping Secret", or something to that effect.
4. If no user has posted in the manner described in 3. within seven days of 2 being carried out, then the post in question will be moved to the general archives.

Re: Declassification Bill
I wanted nothing at all. and the bill before the LAndsraad violates supremecy of the Kaiser. We talked about the SEP not IAC. Now I oppose it EVEN more. I will work to remove it every chance I get if it passes.
Re: Declassification Bill
The Kaiser could always decree this all himself, and we won't have that much of a legal hassle.
