Shireroth

I have said this before, but will now show I'm serious by opening a topic about it: we should get ourselves a new skin.
The current one is based on the old Shirerithian skin. This avoided too much difference between the several parts of the forum. Now it's disturbing me (the differences are too big).
I would like to propose that we ask Ari to recreate our skin by using the current Shirerithian one. I can make a new banner (or ask Scott for help).

What do you say?

I find it the perfect solution to avoid that I get disturbed by moving from one subforum to an other. Besides: I love the Shirerithian skin and would even love it more when I could see a Kildarian version of it.

Ah. I grew to like changing skins in changing regions (from doing stuff in Gralus), but I don't mind using the Shirithian skin at present, as long as we make the colours a bit nicer. More yellow. And blue.

That's what we can do. Perhaps we can just get the same background as our current one (I hope that's possible with that new lay-out) so we surely don't lose the Kildarian feeling...

So... (based on the current Shirerithian skin)
1. The brown background should be replaced by our current one.
2. Malarborbox replaced by our Lumina news box.
3. The banner has to be replaced by a Kildarian one (will draw one).
4. Colour changes. But where? I advise to take the same colours as our current Kildarian one (background in posts dark-blue and the text itself light-blue).

4. No -- I'd rather have the light-grey text and black background that Shireroth at large has.

Bon. For now:

I hope it will stay looking nice when it becomes our banner (that it doesn't look too bad with the background, e.g.).

It is very nice indeed. I'd try filling the inside of the mini text 'birthplace of modern civilisation' with a contrasting colour like orange to make it more readable.
