Issues *I* have with the current system.

1. THERES NEVER A FREAKIN' ADMIN AROUND TO CHECK UP AND CHANGE THINGS! AAAARGLE!!!! :angry Greg Dean is a saint for giving us these forums, but we need someone else to help him out officialy. Who wants to be the minint's assistant?

2. I want to get rid of the 'active contracts' sub-fora, or at least make it so only the kaiser or a minister or some such can post there, so as to make it clean and presentable. As it is now: mess. :no

3. Get rid of the apparent stigma of leaving a contract for another. Of course, this also means being more carefull when offering an open contract. Myeh.

4. CHEESE IT!

Discuss your opinions and debate, or i'll lob off your heads behind the tool shed!

On your point number 3:

I don't feel there should necessarily be any stigma associated with changing contracts, however I feel that it should be a requirement that anyone wanting to leave one contract for another be expressly released from the old contract before they may legally enter a new one. This would be more to prevent confusion than anything else.

He did at first, but once he and I discussed it briefly, I gave him permission to leave. I really had a problem with finding out about stuff happening in my duchy, affecting it in serious ways, after the decisions had been made.

I'm pretty sure that you know my problem.

Namely, this. Antya is pretty much only me. I don't want it to be reduced to a county, because that partially destroys the lore I have for the Barony in the first place, and also removes me as a noble, which I do not want, at all. Rakarsha leaving made me angry (an understatement) on two counts: 1) The danger of Antya disbanding, 2) A person wanting to move an Apollonian territory to a subdivision that was not Apollonian, 3) The betrayal of someone who I thought was loyal to me. .... three, yes, three counts. Confess or you must sit on the comfy chair, etc etc. I know I am, uh, regionalistic? But I don't care.

(However, we did apologize to each other :p)

As well, it's the concept of cultural rights. Normally a count has a right to do whatever he wants to do with his county, up to and including completely rewriting its history. I cannot allow that to happen for Apollonia. Period. Up to the point where I unilaterally claimed the remaining Apollonian territories continuous with Antya to prevent something like this actually happening again. :p

Those are my major complaints. I hate the concept of people having the right to come up with a completely new culture for the subdivision if it already has historical significance.

the readers digest version of wgat happened and the apology can be viewd in my barony and it has been resolved as far as Vorpmadal is concerned.

And quite frankly, I say let Bill do as he pleases with Antya and the Apollonian areas. but such things are not for me to decide. thank goodness.

*sees Kaiser sitting and staring*

It is your job however your kaisernessness. I'll go with whatever you want.

*Stares.*
"What do YOU know about this, Baldwin?" asks the Kaiser.
"Nothing whatever," I reply.
" 'NOTHING WHATEVER'!" bellows the Kaiser. "That's the most important contribution we've heard yet."
"Yep," says Baldwin, looking up from examining his fingernails, "By-the-way, have some wine."
"What wine?" asks the Kaiser.
"There isn't any," says Baldwin, as if he has no idea what the Kaiser was talking about.
"Then it was very uncivil of you to offer it," says the Kaiser, crossing his arms.
"It was very uncivil of YOU to sit down without being asked," I reply.
"What are you talking about?" asks the frustrated Kaiser.
"NOTHING WHATEVER!" replies Baldwin.
And it starts over again......
