Imperial Decree #411: Lady Carol's Day of Commemoration


1.0. A Day of Commemoration
1.1. So as to note the occasion of the passing of Lady Carol, Tuesday 15 December 2009, corresponding to 3783 ASC, shall commencing from 0000hrs UTC be considered to be a public day of commemoration in the Imperial Republic of Shireroth;
1.2. Official business shall not be transacted on this day. Ministers and public officials within the territorial jurisdiction of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth are instructed to suspend their respective activities accordingly for the full twenty-four hour period;
1.3. We ask citizens similarly to conduct themselves with appropriate decorum during this time;
1.4. Imperial Fiefs, sub-divisions and the Landsraad are free to instigate whatever additional observances and commemorations they deem appropriate;
[edit] 1.5. This shall be a one-time only occurrence and hereafter the celebration of Lady Carol's life and achievements shall be set to 28 October, recurring each year, and which shall be decreed separately from this order.
