With the departure of Jess for Ocia/Amokolia, and their imperfect union, I would like to make the following announcement. Due to circumstances beyond our control, and mainly because of Jess for which we thank him dearly, the nation of Ocia/Amokolia/Whateveristan have given our Imperial self a lot of laughs and giggles. I therefore proclaim Ocia/Amokolia Shireroth's official

If I may offer the suggestion that you include a small disclaimer that this decree doesn't reflect on our actual foreign policy it would be appreciated.

The Ocian Federation is very much an analogue of the Russian Federation. This is manifested especially in the projected self-image of their leadership. For instance.

Matt Kovac, the Ocian President, by contrast models himself on Dmitry Medvedev, who succeeded Putin as President but is widely seen as being the Prime Minister's (again Putin) puppet. The inverse has been rumoured in the past to be true in Ocia.

The question then is where does Jess feature in the scheme of things? Is he a Kadyrov or a Koni?

I doubt that you took into consideration the events that preceeded that comment. I was not serious when I said that statement and if you thought I was serious, I do apologize. I do not mean to cause an inconvenience to you and your people.

As for this decree, speaking on behalf of the general consensus of my Ocian bretheren, I do not think that this decree is helpful in anyway to the Ocian Federation. We take this as an insult that will not be tolerated if repeated. I give you one warning for this instance, otherwise there will be a thousand fold retaliation. Abuse is not tolerated by such a people of our Federation, one that has not provoked or attatcked you in any way. It is disgusting that in a professional atmosphere, One that is your official realm! that you would say to your people that Ocia is not a serious nation. Your court is a realm of international influence, one that has seen many triumphs, not one of mocking other friendly nations, one who is in a partnership with your University, a place of learning! Do you want the Shirerithian people to honestly believe you, a person of great influence worldwide, to believe what you have stated in this decree? Do you feel better about your nation and yourself? Do you think just because you are one of the most powerful people on Micras, do you think that means you can pick on entire nations? What is especially disgusting is that you picked on a nation that your government previously called a friend not to long ago. Do you think Shireroth has the right to pick on the Ocian Federation? We held you and your nation in high esteem before this incident, now, our previous recollection of information about your nation is puzzling. Why should our nation have to tolerate you and your insolence? We let your ships pass through our waters toll-free. We let your people cross into our nation without even a boarder crossing, and you call us a nation of lololz? How professionally of you. Our people used to be some of the friendliest two countries on the whole globe. Amokolia even considered merging with you! And what do you give us in return? A demeaning title of "nation of lololz". I can honestly say that I especially do not appreciate what you have called us. You told me to get my act together, and I did. Apparently what my act used to be fell off in your nation after we left. You picked it up and started picking on an innocent nation that did nothing wrong. We are outraged by your comments. What really bothers me and my brertheren is that you refused to repeal this decree. Don't say you weren't being serious, we all know you wanted to feel like you had control over Ocia. Well ma'am, you don't have control over Ocia. We are sad and in shock that you would issue such an insult to an entire nation of proud, peaceful people that have always been a friend to Shireroth. We feel used and abused that you would pick on our homeland. Now we are left with a bad taste in our mouths and are thinking what should we do now? Should we forgive? Or should we cut all ties with a nation? Or maybe is it just their leader, some of your "subjects" have felt remorse. Do you not listen to your fellow comrades? That is a grave misfortune, listen to your fellow people. That will do you very good, ma'am.

On the otherhand, if you make a public apology, we will forget and we can possibly have our old friend back. But in the mean time consider our people sickened and saddened by what you have said here. We do not appreciate it and will not tolerate what you have done here.

Jess, that's probably the most well reasoned and touching things I have ever seen you say. On a personal level, I would think the decree should be taken as reflecting on Ocia and not Amokolia, with whom the Imperial Republic has had a long and friendly relationship with for many years. You are surely aware that some of the things Ocia does are of a questionable nature. I think her niftiness' comments should be taken as referring to that element of Ocia.

As a citizen of Shireroth, your Imperial Niftiness, I think this might be a case where our foreign policy is best served by revoking the decree, unless you fully intend to sever all ties with Ocia.
