To stimulate discussion and piss people off, the University will be running a series of debates (NICE ONES) over the course of the next few weeks. Anyone is welcome to participate, although you must be nice and be logical. The University will not hesitate to point out logical fallacies in arguments .

We need subjects for debate! Help us by suggesting some? Please?

Here are a few potentials:

[Ethics] Is the general public school grading system (i.e. A, B, C, D, F) unfair?
[Ethics] Should people who are convicted of a felony due to mental illness, should they be given different sentences? (prison vs. asylum)

[Philosophy] Are our thoughts inhibited by language?
[Philosophy] Why?

[Tech] Mac vs. PC

I do believe that the last one doesn't require debate. The answer is an obvious one. *cough* Apple *cough*
