ERr... Not sure. Right now I'm pretty focused on Kaisering.

I support we could organize the House. Maybe get a House Steward. We have 4 folk, though Harvey said he was gonna be angsty and not active since the merger/confederation with the other houses, so not sure.

Either way, we have the largest house in the merger house. Hell, we challenge House Kalir I think in size... which makes me think.... Maybe we should make actually Major House status a goal to shoot for. The Landsraad could grant us Equestrian status... And maybe some more lands.

And then we shall have Lordship and Dominion. Muhaha.

We might also want to get some territorial continuity going if we can. Erik has Monty Crisco, and I have Sunderspray, which despite being water-based has a general sort of connection with the area around the mouth of the Elwynn. We could go for some unclaimed lands in the same area... Alexandretta and Lunaris, maybe, if they're free?

On that note: is there a master list of land ownership going? And if not, maybe it would be a good idea to nail one up in the Kaiser's Court? And then I or someone else cartographically minded could maybe make some maps out of it. Land and ownership are going to be both important and complicated these days, so it'd be a good idea to keep track of it all.

I think my decrees have the information, just remove the inactive people's lands. I really oughta keep a master list in the court, shouldn't I....

Alexandretta and Lunaris would make sense to me. Which should we go for first, and whom should we give it to?

I think it would be a great idea to keep a running list of lands and who they are owned by.

As to the lands and who to give them to...*shrugs* Is there anyone who doesn't own lands already?

You, and Harvey lack lands.

I have made the list in the Kaiser's Court.

Lunaris was once Tonyas and part of Goldshire... Alexandretta (now Kralizec) was once Alex'...and part of Brookshire....

Well if I am deemed worthy of land..I wouldn't mind having part of Goldshire back....being the previous Duchess of Goldshire and all...it sort of holds a soft spot for me.

Funny story, that. We should talk about what happened with Goldshire at some point.

O.o I am almost afraid to ask...

Oh well, not that I can complain with whatever happened since I was gone for so long...What did happen?

EDIT: So I looked in the archives...and according to them...nothing happened...for like 4 years!!! Or were 4 years of posts just missing?

Harvey was Duke for a time.

Goldshire was merged with Brookshire for quite some time.

And then briefly unmerged.

The slightly longer gist of it was that there was a minor recwar at the beginning of this year between Brookshire and Elwynn and I decided to play a 3rd party for an independent Goldshire, expecting to lose the recwar very badly. Oddly enough the independant Goldshire faction ended up being the one with the most support. I talked to some people and refounded it as an official duchy. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. The only active citizens that joined were Scott, who was under the opinion I should re-disband Goldshire from day one, Aryeztur, who started renaming everything and wanted to put in some sort of bizzare Japansese feudal culture, and Leo, who became duke and immediately ceded the entire land to Elwynn. (though the Kaiser didn't go for that)

I basically gave up in disgust. The territory got re-merged into Brookshire and vanished entirely when the duchy system was disbanded.

And so. I'm gonna go ask the Landsraad for a county to be granted to House Mortis. Which one should I ask for you all? Lunaris (which got merged into patravatara...whatever but can be unmerged.) or Kralizec (formerly Alexandretta)?

I'm contemplating to do something, so I would recommend Kralizec. We'll talk soon Erik.

It is next to Monty Crisco.. so would be continuous.
