(Or like what Spangle does and just point out how ridiculous my imagination truly is) While it will be physically impossible to undertake the creation of a space elevator in Bjorngard I would be more then happy if you were to oversee such a project in Ground Zero (Yardistan), or the Raynor Isles (Kildare).

I like how preparing the site for a new build appears to be the impossibility here rather than the construction of an actual space elevator (and I look forward to the ensuing hilarity when the "cable" snaps).

Space elevator has to be on the equator, anchor needs to be in geosynchronous orbit.
