But since it's here, I'll use it to post this "Ways Jews Are Like Shirerithians" list that I came up with on the train from work today.

And a special one in my honor, "They both remain fiercely loyal to their respective communities long after they've stopped believing in them."1. They both have longer histories than almost anyone else around, and never tire of talking about them to anyone they can make listen.
2. They both escaped from bondage; one in Egypt, one in Tymaria.
3. They both recently resurrected their country after a long time when everyone was sure it was dead.
4. They both believe that a single being controls every facet of existence; for one, it's God, for the other, it's Erik.
5. They both get accused of controlling the world a lot.
6. They both have a big lawbook which they debate about all the time.
7. They both have a history of trouble with Middle Eastern-themed countries.
