It appears that through tests done on Barakanams corpse have shown certain genetic mutations in Ohl'tar physiology.
A strain of hyper accelerated procreation hormones. This causes Ohl'tar to be able to breed at an increased rate, and no longer have a requirement for a gestation period. This could only mean that they only need a single female to supply several hundred new Ohl'tar. There are reports already of hives producing Ohl'tar at an alarming rate. The scientific board of Agnesia recommends immediate action against these hives.
