Pretty sure Ari's saying that there was a prank, it worked pretty well, and nobody should feel bad about what they did or what came from it.

I guessed that was his view from the beginning, and that he was hoping the poll would have a lot more of the first response than the second. I voted the second myself, partially because it's what I believe, but also to try to convince him not to rejoin since I don't think the majority shares his views. But he'll do whatever he wants.

Oh, well, personally, I think this matter is a stupid reason to join or not join. I think it's a stupid thing to get bent out of shape over in general. Whether it went well or not, it's over and gone. We wouldn't even be talking about it if someone hadn't tried to make it a deal again... but they did. I'm putting it in the "meh, whatever" category and moving on.

Ari, just rejoin, you know you still like being here. You post often even. Maybe you can reinfect us with your sense of the bizarre and slight evil.
