Statement on Shireroth

Post by Andreas the Wise »

I call for the Small Commonwealth to make a statement and affirm it in the Assembly that we do not view ourselves as Shireroth's pet, nor Shirithian foreign policy an extension of our own etc. Some states have been making highly innacurate comments suggesting such a state of affairs, and appear set in their ways to continue doing so despite unofficial corrections from the representatives from Novatainia and Batavie. So I think reaffirming this in the Small Commonwealth assembly would be the best way to make our position clear.

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

I respect that. But you must realise how Ashkenatza feels pressured when three of our four neighbours suddenly enter into a military alliance and give us the unofficial ultimatum to 'join or be outcasts'.
I really understand now the purpose of the commonwealth and am thankful that you have clarified it, but perhaps another step would be changing the logo? Then the idea of it being a non-Shirereithan controlled entity would be a more convincing one.

No offence meant, just some suggestions.

You mean like Erik proposed a week ago?

And actually, none of us have signed the mutual defence treaty. Only Novatainia and Shireroth have even signed more than the original treaty ...

But thanks for being understanding. :thumbsup

Like Andreas saod: wrong. The Small Commonwealth isn't a military alliance.

I like the logo, looking Shirithian or not. It simply looks good.
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki
Can't you see? I'm crazy! :tomcutterhamonfire :smashy

Looking good or not, it gives the wrong message.
