The Small Rational Mutual Defense Treaty

1. an member nation of the Small Commonwealth may sign this treaty as long as they have also signed the Small Non-Aggression Treaty, and have the consent of 1/3rd of the current signatory nations.

2. All signatory nations vow to give military aid to any other signatory nation that has been attacked by an aggressor state.

3. If the conflict above was created by the fulfillment of the signatory nation of another military treaty or alliance, this treaty is not invoked.

4. Upon giving notice, any signatory nation may leave this treaty.

5. This treaty may be amended by a 3/4th majority of signatory nations.

I was wondering about a "friendly recwar treaty." Just noticing the nations who CAN recwar friendly are also the ones likely to join ... it'd make sense to use the Small Commonwealth as a mini-recwar society such that we could run friendly recwars with other members. Ie recwars that actually work.

This came up in the Non-Aggression Treaty thread. I think a treaty for rec-war would be a good idea. It could be separate from these treaties. Or an extension of them.

4. A Recreational War, deemed friendly by the nations involved at the initiation of the war, shall not invoke this treaty.

5. Upon giving notice, any signatory nation may leave this treaty within 24 hours of the notice.

6. This treaty may be amended by a 3/4th majority of signatory nations.
