Just goes to show that not all nifty technologies are cutting-edge. Behold, my friends... the Solar Death Ray!http://www.solardeathray.com/It uses a set of 112 small mirrors stuck to a flat surface and aligned so that they all reflect sunlight onto a single spot; objects placed at this convergence of heat and energy tend to melt or burn or otherwise get destroyed. If ever we have a real-life military, I think we should make one of these for our national superweapon... it's not incredibly useful in a military setting, but it's awesome. The website includes a "target gallery" where the Death Ray's builder lists and provides photos of all the objects he's attempted to destroy with it. Good stuff.

Wowee. There are no flowers, no not this time. There will be no angels gracing the lines, just these stark words I find.

Same difference. There are no flowers, no not this time. There will be no angels gracing the lines, just these stark words I find.
