Antica and Kaikas

Well, it should be obvious that Shireroth is deciding to give away the vast majority of the territory of the Dinarchy of Antica - that's why this treaty was thought up in the first place. The only reason why it's "vast majority" is because we have not decided what to do with Kaikas. As it is the only Antican territory in Shireroth that has activity, it deserves more than simply giving it away to the Republic.

This thread will decide the fate of these territories.

What are the wishes of the current owner of Kaikas? Also, is there someone else who actually created it and has a say in the argument?

I'd also like to know if the Republic of Antica terribly wants Kaikas, and if so, what significance it is to them.

Antica wishes, collectively, to go with joint control for kaikias as it will secure peace more fully between Shireroth and Antica. Also, it makes sense as Baldwin is both Antican adn Shirithian.

I, personally, prefer splitting the territory of Kaikias. However, I am willing to consider all propositions

Are there any other reasons beyond a stronger peace between Antica and Shireroth for joint control? It seems to me that joint control would be messy and might actually strain relations in the future. This, taken with Baldwin's wish to split the territory, makes splitting it seem to be the best choice.

If so, there's certainly flexibility in where and how it can be split.

Definitely. I'm quite willing to give Antica the larger portion.

You are correct that it would be simpler.

The Antican government has come to a new position after the suggestions of Osmose. We feel that a territorial split is a good idea and a simple one. We also believe that it is a good idea for goods and personel to be given access throughout the whole of Kaikias.

We are however willing to negotiate variations on the point of military access and territorial split.

I regret that I have nothing useful to add. It sounds like a simple, fair solution.

Sounds good to me. Let's decide on borders and draw up a treaty. (I personally like the second map I suggested in the other thread.)

Well, I think we'll leave the splitting up to Baldwin in whatever manner he wants.

These, then, are the boundaries (the name of Civitas Atia is to be changed, I've decided I don't like it, not that you care.)
