Recwars: A Speculation

You were to make a formula for when and how a recwar destorys itself I think it would go a little like this:

Immaturity + Narrative Incoherence (Over Time) + Risk to Invested Emotional Capital + Blurring of parameters of Recwar Simulation and Routine Political Simulation (Over Time) = Recwar Implosion

Now if only I could quantify it and work out a time scale. Another think to explore is whether the existance of a rule set and or arbitration service has any impact on the rate of implosion. Personally I think it will remain constant - that most recwars fall apart after the second or third week.

Tell you what, here's my sales sample. DSSI Mark VII. Needs a charge, but works off of 120/240V, single or three-phase. Works on most things in this reality, but for the flying squids of the 10/0 World Line, well they need a full charge to fry well.

Back on topic... Yes... that sounds about right for how and why they implode... that's why I am advocating low tech recwars with little to no magic, and the leader, at least in Shireroth ones, making a plan for the outcome...
