[draft] Map of Brookshire Hamlet

Here, in my first act as Cartographical Minister thingymajig-person, I present to you the draft of the Map of Brookshire Hamlet- freshly done on Paint.NET- if Scott wants to make this into a neat, snazzier map I can send him the original .net file with all the layers intact- so maybe we could add a nicer font if you guys don't like the one used here...
That aside, here's what I've done so far. I've tried to include the Dolor Rail Networks Map's plans of lines across Modan-Lach and Southern Brookshire as well as the map of Modan-Lach I made in my first few weeks as Count there.
That's why there's the two rivers converging on the fertile plains in the valley in Upper Lach- it should be a good defensive location for any RecWars.
It's got a mix of Laqi and Lywinder names, as well as some stuff M'Lord Duke Fors wanted- the Kehl for one :)

I haven't finished yet but here's what I've done so far.
If anyone else wants something added, just tell me and I'll put it in the final draft.

Regards,
Hadjimehmetov.

Cheers- of course, there was no point adding the street names because they're all
'Avenue of the Supreme Benovelence of His Niftiness'
'Glory of the reign of Reynardine I Street'
'Splendour of the house of Koreyasu Lane'
'True nobility manifest in His Gloriousness Reynardine I Crescent'
etc etc... :p

Can I be Kaiser next please?

*ahem*

Are there any requests for buildings to be put on?

Unfortunately, I told Erik he'd be after me a while back. Also, there's the matter of citizenship requirements. :document

Otherwise, we'll see what happens next time I get the throne ;)

Ah well. Fair dos.
But seriously, Ashkenatza's kind of dead/dying, and my citizenship in Babkha isn't really going anywhere, so... yeah :thumbsup ... hopefully after Erik if he lets me! :kaiser

Seriously, are there any more buildings anyone wants added to the map?

You'll have to fight Jonas to the death first ...

Maybe I'll make you Steward... Or you can sway the Landsraad to make you Steward, under my reign. I haven't decided how I'm gonna deal with that yet.

In fact, because of a 'certain' citizenship I will not have the oppurtunity to be Kaiser in the near future. And it would ruin my longest-Praetor-record. :D
I don't mind having Maksym as next Kaiser, nor do I mind to bow for Kaiser Erik. ;)

I think it's a bad idea to give me the kaisership now, with all those current problems. My place is somewhere else in this nation, I don't feel mlyself ready yet. Maybe I will never feel me ready for it.

Jonas, that is the wisest thing you've said in my recent memory. :love

And yet, who of us is really ready at all? I obviously wasn't! :D

Like heck you were not. Reynardine is the perfect name. The FOX! :document

Erik is ready.

Jonas is more than ready. All hail Mahamantot II ? :o

(I'm always ready. :evil :evil )

Ric might be ready for another go.

Scott is ready.

Ari is ready.

Andreas would be an awesome Kaiser

Ian, Prodigy, Maksym, Jess. The list goes on and on. I apologize to anyone ambitious that I missed.

Citizenship issues are more of a question than readiness.

Of course how long a Kaiser might last is another story. But imagine the storylines, the pull-and-tug, the chaos and activity....... :archy :evil :archy

Ha! Reynardine is simply a unique name. It's background has yet to manifest itself in my reign.

Although, I have a bad habit of choosing long names for things. Perhaps if I get another go at the throne (gods forbid), I should pick a shorter name, perhaps Kaiser &#3!$

Regardless, I certainly don't feel ready. It's a chore simply trying to keep people from wanting my head on a platter!

Excuse me, as next Kaiserial Candidate I think my Kaiserial Avatar will win hands down...

A drawing of Azazello from Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita (perhaps one of the best novels ever written, I'd say)!

But to reiterate- for the third time- my previous question...

Are there any other buildings anyone wants put on the Map of Brookshire Hamlet?

The ducal stables, conveniently located for a nice procession to the palace at the changing of the guards.

I have problems seeing it too. Why don't you upload it to Shirewiki and post the image URL here?

Jake, you have an odd concept of ready...

Where did the map go?

I would also like the City Hall added with a square nearby with the old gallows, aptly named Hangaround Square.
