Login problem

I've also been unable to stay logged in from board visit to board visit. Anyone else have that glitch now?

Would it make you happier to know that back when we were on shireroth.kuroshiro.net permanent logins never worked for me and I always had to log back in after a couple of hours or so? I never even tried clicking on the "remember this session" (or whatever it says anyway) box on shireroth.org before this thread reminded me that phpBB actually has that feature because I was so used to logging back in all the time. Because, truth is, I'm pretty retarded with login cookie problems and have no idea what might be causing this

Please remind me about this on Friday or so, when I'll be on dsl, and I'll see what I can do... I'm in the woods again at the moment and don't really have a connection that I can do anything complicated on the internet with...

I'll try the semi-scientific approach and screw with these security settings one by one, then... this is going to take a while, though, and you'll have to report back to this thread after every change. Oh well, we'll give it a try.

Attempt #1: Relaxing session IP validation to from A.B.C to A.B. Is it working yet?
