We have a functional Stock Market!

If you go into your account at the bank, you will now see a button called "Stock Market". Going there you will see a change in the menu and 3 new buttons. Market. Portfolio and View Trades.

If you go to Market you can see what stocks are up for sale, and buy stocks.
If you go to Portfolio you can see what stocks you own, and change their status and price. Offered means someone can buy it from you, Held means no one can buy it or see it.

If you have an account you registered as a Company, you will have yet another button that let's you create stock. Only company accounts can do this. If your account needs to be a company account, ask the bank admin to change it for you (andreas). (I can do it to, but not authorized by the SCUE to do so...)

Andreas will be putting out a more simulation/game oriented stock market in a while. So look out for that too. It'll work differently then this market which will be ONLY real companies.

Have fun! It's up to companies to entice people to buy stock. Their is a company on their called Test Co. That's my test company. Buy and sell it as you will, but try to keep the price below €1 per share since I use that account for testing.

EDIT: I'm offering some stocks, but how can other people buy them?

Are you sure you set them as offerred, Jonas? I can only see Test Co, Mortis International Services and ISI.

When they go to the Market page they can buy them the same way you did. If you go to Portfolio you can set them as "Offered" by editing them.


btw.. I had to delete some stock you had. Due to a glitch, they didn't exist/never got paid for. You lost nothing.

I have set them on 'Offered', but can't see them anywhere on, the list...

You don't see your own offered stock. It was to help reduce clutter.
