Well, bang goes that idea for resolving this. Quest anyone?
(and just think Jacobus - who do we study in school more? Elizabeth or Shakespeare?)
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

English or history major? :document

Hey, this would be a good topic in the multi-temple! Who had the most effect on history, kings or poets?

I'll give the duel a little more thought. I just don't think a poet necessarily makes a good Kaiser. (sharpens pen)

See, that's your problem Jacobus, You're the type that brings a Sharp Pen to an Exploding Pen fight.

Half a verse, half a verse,
Half a verse onward,
Into the Valley of Goats
Wrote Kaiser Loki.
'Forward now, Jacobay!
Charge for the throne!' he said:
Into the valley of goats
Wrote Kaiser Loki.

'Forward, our Jacobay!'
Was he a man dismayed?
Not though the Kaiser hoped
Hasan would blunder:
His but to make reply,
His now to reason why,
His time to do or die:
Into the valley of Goats
Wrote Kaiser Loki.

Hasan to right of him,
Jayatar to left of him
Andreas in front of him
Held forth, and wondered-
Raged at by quip´s quatrain,
Boldly he went, `tis plain
All of the verse so rash,
Into the PRH
Wrote Kaiser Loki.

Flashed he his smile so fair,
Flashed as he tuned an aire
Grinning at the Babkhans there,
Charging an army, while
Shireroth still wondered:
Plunged in the goat-borne smoke
Right through a line he wrote;
Babkhan and Gralan
Reeled from the pencil-stroke
Shattered and sundered.
Then he wrote back, but not
Not that they wondered.

Babakhan to right of him,
Gralan to left of him,
Straylight behind him
Rhymed but still wondered;
Stormed at with quip and quote,
While goat and owner fell,
He that had wrote so well
Came through the tangled verse,
Back from the PRH,
All that was left of him,
Left of Jacobus.

When will his glory fade?
O the wild charges he made!
All the Shiririthians say okey-dokey.
List´ to the statements, aye!
Crown now the Jacobay,
Our Kaiser Loki!
