Yes, I know. But I found it necessary to confirm what he wrote.Andreas the Wise wrote:I believe Ari's point in the first quote is that is *exactly* why we encourage people to sign the treaty instead of starting with 0.

Re: Why the SCUE is a closed economy and what to do about it
We *could* have a SCUE where every new nation starts from zero and has to get money for itself by providing goods and services or whatever to other nations. But who'd join in if we did that? And critics would say that Gralus and Shireroth hold all the money and it wouldn't be fair. The system is go...

Re: A Plea to the Kaiser and to the Landsraad
:) Those who know our flag see it, and think: SHIREROTH. Ryan's flag is pretty the same as the old one, with some (in my eyes minor) changes. The traditionalists wish that the old flag be kept as the imperial standard, the reformists wish that the old flag be kept as the imperial standard. Tradition...

What exactly is the advantage of .svg and paying money to convert it to that kind of image? Just asking, I never got why it's so much used lately.

I'm doubting between Scott's and Ryan's flag. Iskander's flags look nice, but it doesn't feel 'Shirerithian' (more for a subdivision).

But Batavia has taxes (the State doesn't have much money, most is circulating).Andreas the Wise wrote:It is solved, largely. It's solved by not taxing (or, if you are taxing, taxing all your citizens per head, rather than as a proportion of their bank income in the account you can see).

I think that we're on the way to become the most active Duchy around. I haven't enjoyed local affairs anymore since way back in August / September 2008 (Kildarian Time Wars, a very active period).

Re: Petition Regarding Ynnraile
I have thought about this matter, slept a bit and have the following answer: no land moves will be done . Goldshire stays a Duchy and doesn't loose the barony (the Goldshirians need to talk about land exchanges themselves). This means that I give Goldshire a chance. But, if the Goldshirians accept a...

Re: Petition Regarding Ynnraile
The problem with this is that if you give Ynnraile to Elwynn, we might as well just disband Goldshire as a duchy since it will be too small, in my opinion, to even be a duchy. Straylight was small. And I'm sure that it will return in the future. So no, that's something I don't want to believe. :demon

Hhmm. So, if I chose the Elwynn-side, I get free help with the construction of the Zygus Qamil...
But if I don't chose the Goldshire-side, they will probably rebel and nag about this matter till I want to abdicate (NEVER! ).
Hhmmmm.... let me think.

I know this isn't usual, but could you add 1 more citizen (so 7500 more)? And old citizen, Hieronymus Erasmus, came back. They haven't used the bank yet, so: please?!
