Re: ECONOMIC NOTICE TO SHIREROTH:

First off, while Shireroth is no Aerican Empire, it surely isn't a Nova Roma, and never will be.Its purpose and function has differed with each incarnation. At this point, years after its founding as a "joke" ezState, I think that Shireroth is simply a community of like-minded individuals who are un...

Re: Scheheradze Convention

I'm banned, could you provide a copy?I opposed it this summer because it seemed to be a blatant move of Atteran imperialism. I'm guessing that my opinion hasn't changed, but I'll review it anyway.

Re: ECONOMIC NOTICE TO SHIREROTH:

No, it wasn't an insult, and I'm willing to give anything a chance. But the graveyards of Micras are full of economic models. You must tread warily, lest you try to over stimulate the market.

Re: RE: Seperation of Church and State Act

This nation could just as accurately be called the "Old Boys' Club of Shireroth", SS.It's disgusting. The act is failing because Erik is opposed to it, basically. His influence holds sway over the citizenry to such an extent that he doesn't even need to be Kaiser or have a seat in the Landsraad to h...

Eh, I'm with Erik.Tax income, but don't attempt to collect from money that's been in his account for ages. That is, until Landsraad passes a law allowing MiniTrade to confiscate portions of stagnant holdings.

It shouldn't - that's why no government forums would be taxed. I just keep on saying "unnecessary government forums" so as to differentiate between oh, say, the Landsraad and the Uni.

Re: Taxing Forums and Other Ideas

Actually, I believe that there is a bill that states that Boomism is the Established Church of Shireroth. I would like to see this scrapped, and I am currently networking to get a bill that would do so put before the Landsraad.

Some economic ideas

1. Perhaps we 'Boreans should hold our money communally, rather than in individual bank accounts. Or, we could maintain individual accounts as well as a ducal (communal) one, to which we pledge to give a large part of our earnings. This, with various light taxes, will give us a sizable monetary base...

Taxing Forums and Other Ideas

IÂ’ve been mulling over the following proposals for some time now. I feel that their implementation (at least in part) would help fuel our economy and create a real, easily visible dichotomy of winners/losers to help motivate and focus up and coming entrepreneurs.1.        Impose an ...
